Cabo Expecting A Record Travel Season In 2022/2023

Los Cabos is Anticipating the Highest Season This Winter

Los Cabos has always been a top destination for tourists from all across the world. However, Cabo San Lucas is expected to witness its highest season this winter. The beginning of October marks the start of the peak season. And so far, almost three-quarters of luxury villa rentals have been reserved.

In March this year, Los Cabos broke an all-time tourism record by hosting around 325,000 visitors. A clear indication that this may be one of the highest performing years in Los Cabo’s tourism history. This was mainly attributed to the destination’s approach to the pandemic by enforcing strict regulations.

Be as it may, the number of accommodation bookings is expected to exceed 80% when you factor in the many tourists who may decide to visit last minute without reservations. For anyone interested in having a good time in Los Cabos this winter, finding accommodation as soon as possible is imperative to avoid last minute rush.

Fishing Tournaments Could Also Increase Number of Bookings in October

Los Cabos will be hosting three fishing tournaments in October, including Bisbee’s Los Cabos Off-shore, Billfish Tournament, and Bisbee’s Black and Blue Marlin Tournament. These three events will most likely lead to a surge in luxury villa bookings.

Even though these tournaments attract different fishing enthusiasts, you can be assured that everyone who appreciates this sport will be flocking to Los Cabos. If love for the sport won’t be convincing enough, the prize money will be. For instance, the Bisbee’s Black and Blue Marlin tournament is considered the world’s richest tournament. A good number of fishing enthusiasts will be coming to claim this money.

There are Plenty of Other Things that Bring Tourists to Cabo San Lucas in October

If fishing isn’t your favorite sport, there are plenty of other things that can make you consider visiting Los Cabos in October. They include;

  • Los Cabos weather in October is fantastic. The waters are warm. The temperatures experience highs of 92 degrees F and lows of 74 degrees F. Also, towards the end of September, the storms tend to stop.
  • Octobers in Las Cobas are when whales start to enter the region. Considering how clear the waters usually are during this time of the year, it’s one of the best times to go whale watching. If you are daring enough, you can go swimming with whale sharks.

Visit Los Cabos This October for an Unforgettable Winter Vacation

If you have no plans for winter, Los Cabos is a fun-filled destination with lots of things to do and see. Other than the fishing tournaments, great weather and whale-watching excursions, Los Cabos is quite hospitable.
